About Momentum Home Transitions
A better way through life's transitions.
Momentum Home Transitions was founded by Katie and Corey, two Calgary-area entrepreneurs who believe that families shouldn't have to navigate the overwhelm of a home transition alone.
The idea came from watching our own families navigate the realities of aging, downsizing, and loss. We've seen our parents spend countless hours over many weekends sorting through and packing up their own parents' homes while grieving. We've watched them sacrifice their free time and their desires because they needed to tackle the home sorting. We've also watched them feel overwhelmed by their own homes, unsure where to begin or how to tackle everything that needs to be done.
We kept coming back to the same question: What if families didn't have to manage it all themselves?
We created Momentum to offer a more thoughtful, coordinated approach. We bring the right people together, organize the moving parts, and help families move forward with greater clarity and peace of mind.

Our backgrounds combine professional experience, practical problem-solving, and a shared understanding of how much these transitions can ask of a family.
Katie brings experience across the oil and gas, telecommunications, entrepreneurship and a business dedicated to helping women create more peace in their lives. Her strengths in project coordination, communication, and navigating the human side of change inform Momentum's thoughtful, client-focused approach. Katie and the team help you understand your options, organize next steps, and feel supported throughout the process.
Corey, a lawyer and entrepreneur originally from Grande Prairie, brings a strong foundation in structured thinking, attention to detail, and managing complex matters. He supports the planning and operational side of Momentum, helping ensure the details behind each transition receive the same care and consideration as the people experiencing it.
Together, we combine an organized, solutions-oriented approach with the compassion and discretion these moments deserve.
